Roots on the River is volunteer driven and staffed. With 20-25 volunteer staff and an additional 75 weekend volunteers each year, the festival could not possibly be produced without their unfailing support. Many volunteers have returned for 10 years or more. Vermont Festivals' Ray Massucco started out as a volunteer in 2000 and eventually found himself spending more time than he's willing to admit producing this little gem of a festival.

Charlie Hunter started the festival, but no longer needs to sneak onto the webpage to tidy things up. This makes him happy. Questions & complaints regarding this site can be lodged here, but there's no guarantee you won't be mocked for them; that can be remedied by donations of cash and/or karma to the same place.
